A: Tournament paintball is a thrilling aspect of the sport in which teams get a chance to compete with each other. Games are played using a 100 point scale system in which points are awarded for different things like player eliminations and hanging the flag to finish the game. For more information on the point scale, check out our Tournament Rules page.
A: The WCPS is the most affordable tournament series in the Northwest. We hope to continue to grow the sport without having expensive entry fees so that more teams can participate in a well-run event. Although we may have inexpensive entry and paint fees, we don’t sacrifice quality in how these events are organized.
A: The level of tournament experience determines the division in which a team play’s in. For example, the beginner division is for players who have never played a tournament before and/or have very limited tournament experience. See our Tournament Rules page for further information about the divisions.
A: Every team usually plays around 8-10 games. The top teams that move into the finals will usually play another 3-5 games.
A: First, let us know you plan on coming, either by email or on our thread on PBNation.com. We’ll get your team name added to our list and prepare your registration packet. You must register on our Registration page through PayPal, a secure payment website. On the morning of the event, come to the Registration Tent and pick up your team packet. Inside are team waivers and the team registration form. Have all the teammates fill out their waivers and the registration form and return them all together to the Registration Tent. Also, you may buy paint tickets at that time (cash only, sorry!), which can then be redeemed at the paint truck.
Q: If I am 18 or younger, will I need a legal guardian to sign my waiver so I can play in the event?
A: Yes. Some of our fields have their waivers posted online on their websites, in which you can print it off and have your parent/guardian sign your waiver before you come to the field. If the field doesn’t post their waiver on their website, your parent/guardian may simply write and sign their consent on a piece of paper. We will attach that to a waiver at the Registration Tent.
